World Affairs Council honours Sheikha Moza – Peninsula On

DOHA: Qatar Foundation (QF) and a Chairperson, H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, were celebrated by a World Affairs Council in Washington, DC on Thursday for QF’s unusual worldwide contributions to a graduation of education, tellurian development, and amicable and mercantile prosperity. 

QF was famous with a 2014 Global Education Award during a Council’s Global Education Gala, an annual forum to recognize a Council’s achievements over a prior year, and to honour people and organisations for their contributions to a graduation of tellurian preparation and open recognition of tellurian issues. 

Dr Sheikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Thani, President of Hamad bin Khalifa University, and Vice-President, Education, QF, supposed a endowment on interest of Sheikha Moza. The high-profile eventuality was attended by members of Congress, comparison US supervision officials, ambassadors, business leaders, and media representatives. 

Addressing a audience, Dr Al Thani underlined Sheikha Moza’s joining to preparation and to building a knowledge-based economy, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, underneath a care of H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a Emir.
